As a global energy technology enterprise, Siemens Energy will draw on its resources and technological advantages in the energy supply chain to collaborate with more partners to build a clean energy island in Hainan. This partnership is expected to spur further innovation and establish the project as a "lighthouse" for Sino-German green cooperation. The successful signing ceremony marks a new stage in the collaboration between Siemens Energy and its Chinese partners since they signed a Memorandum of Understanding on strategic cooperation on July 1. Under the agreement, all parties will deeply engage in areas such as offshore wind-powered green hydrogen production, port shipping for green fuel refueling, gas-hydrogen blending, and carbon footprint certification. Together, they aim to create an exemplary clean energy island project in Hainan that contributes to global energy transition endeavors.
