dolfan,
check your owners manual for circuit size required. But if your motor states 22fla that is what it will draw at full load, so heavier the car the more amps it will draw therefore a 20 amp breaker would work if the capacity of the lift isnt being lifted. But IMHO
1) use a 25amp breaker or a 30 amp (22a x 1.25% = 27.5a since the is no 27.5 amp breaker you move up to 30amp
2)sorry you have answered your own question #10 wire since there is no #11
3)well the smart ass answer is if your breaker hasnt tripped you havent exceeded your load. But to check your amps you need an amp meter and a second person to turn on and run machines under load while you take readings remember amps in crease as load increases . There are two ways to do this, turn on everything that you would have on at same time and take reading if you are not close to main breaker rating then your done if you are then turn on individual items take reading and then calculate. But please be careful taking amp reading sometimes the jaws are hard to get around wires. IF you decide to get amp reading there is more info i can give you.
