In some cases, murals are better. Period.
They last longer, they are natural looking and most importantly, they don’t look like below.
In a summary here are some disadvantages of using murals over wall stickers.
Here are some on site examples and disadvantages of why you should not use wall stickers.
Word cloud
I was visiting this cafe and they had this word cloud printed in transparent wall sticker. The light reflected from the surface of the wall (plastic surface) and it totally messed up the mood of the cafe. Imagine having a plastic curtain sheet hanging on the wall, that’s how bad it was.
Wall sticker is reflecting light. Absolutely not encourage-able to do this.
Large tagline, Slogan, or quote
I was in an office today. Like some offices, they had wall stickers on their walls in their office. They are simply just quotes or slogans on the walls.
Do is only two letters awat from done.
It looks good from a far until i walked nearer to notice the following.
Notice the ‘e’.
This wall sticker is not cheap and it is probably only less than 1 year old. The peeling of the sticker is caused by moisture and dust over time. Poor workmanship also contributes to it’s deterioration.
Pantry
In the same office, this is from the pantry eating area.
‘Expresso yourself’
You got to admit, it is creative word playing. However when you sit down around the eating area, you will see this below.
More peelings due to moisture and poor workmanship
For a listed company, this is such a shame. Not only the stickers are expensive (4 figures), it didn’t last. (I asked the office people, they said it was only 6 month old.) Should they have painted in on instead of sticking it on, because not only it will be easily done by mural, they would have saved so much money and the art would have lasted for many years to come.
Do take into consideration that murals are also perfect for the following scenario:
We are able to duplicate your artworks as shown here

Installation: Decals are much easier to install than painted murals. They come in pre-cut pieces that can be easily applied to a wall or surface, and they can be removed or repositioned without causing damage to the wall. On the other hand, painted murals require the services of a professional artist and can take several days to complete, and they are permanent once they are applied.
Versatility: Decals are highly versatile and can be used to create a wide range of designs and styles, from simple patterns to elaborate scenes.
